NRD transformed the front entrance of Friends Community School, a community base Quaker school, into an exploratory play space for all students. The design is based the Potomac Gorge, where children can climb in the Boulder Scramble, or play in sand of Potomac Beach, or swing in the trees. The Peace Circle is in the center with hand-hewn log benches for the whole community to gather and celebrate.
